AML & KYC

The page explains when identity checks run, which documents cover identity, address and payment method and how files should be prepared. Transaction monitoring, source of funds requests and the storage of records for at least seven years are described alongside.

Why these checks exist

Anti-money-laundering rules oblige gambling operators to know who plays with real money and where the funds come from. The checks protect players from account theft, keep criminal money out of the services and form part of our licence duties rather than an optional extra. Completing them early keeps the account fully open and removes the most common delay before a first payout.

When verification runs

A document check runs before the first withdrawal and does not repeat afterwards unless the account details change. Additional reviews may start at any stage when transaction patterns, profile changes or licence obligations require them. Requested documents should arrive within the stated deadline, since an unanswered request limits the account until the case closes.

Documents we request

The standard check covers three areas:

  • Proof of identity: A passport, driving licence or national ID card, photographed in colour with all four corners visible. The name and date of birth must match the profile exactly.
  • Proof of address: A bank statement or utility bill showing the name and the address from the account. Recent documents pass review with fewer questions than old ones.
  • Proof of payment: A photo of the deposit card with the middle digits covered, or a screenshot of the e-wallet account page. The holder name has to stay visible in both cases.
  • Source of funds: In selected cases, payslips, bank records or similar papers confirming where larger sums come from. This request follows anti-money-laundering duties and applies only where the rules demand it.

File requirements

Sharp, uncropped images in JPG, PNG or PDF pass fastest. Filters, edits and photos of screens get sent back, and every returned document restarts the wait. Photographs taken on a phone work fine when the whole document sits in frame and the text stays readable.

Monitoring and account action

Transactions pass automated and manual review as part of the anti-money-laundering programme. Suspected fraud, third-party play or unexplained fund movements can lead to suspension of the account while an investigation runs, with authorities informed where our duties require it. Deposits never turn into a laundering channel here: cashing out funds that were never wagered draws additional review before any payout leaves.

Data handling during checks

Documents travel through encrypted channels and reach only the staff and identification partners involved in the review. Storage follows the privacy notice, with identity and transaction records kept for at least seven years after account closure as anti-money-laundering rules require. Questions about a running check go to the support team through live chat or email, with the account email named in the first message.
